Renate and Scott Hauser with their two children Caitlin and Ian. The Bayfield Winery is owned and operated by Renate & Scott Hauser. Renate and Scott have specialized in hard cider and mead country apple wines since 1989. Their product line also includes a draft apple cider, providing a refreshing alternative to beer. The Bayfield Winery is located in beautiful Bayfield Wisconsin, overlooking Lake Superior. Scott Hauser Scott is currently President and CEO of the Bayfield Winery. He currently handles most of the Winery's daily duties, including harvesting apples, making and bottling wine, and selling the wine. Scott was born, raised, and lived in Wisconsin all his life. He has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin - Stout. Prior to working at the Bayfield Winery full-time, Scott was a manager at Allen Bradley for 15 years.

Renate Hauser Renate currently serves as secretary of The Bayfield Winery. Prior to secretary, she served as the chemical analyist for the winery. Renate was born in Ohio, and later met Scott in Dallas. Scott and Renate married 10 years ago, and then moved to Shorewood, Wisconsin in 1992. Renate recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. She will now begin a career as a tax professional for Arthur Andersen in Milwaukee. Renate also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Western Michigan University.
